Biography: I'm turning 23 March 18th & feel like I don't have enough time to do all the things that I want to do in my life... I'll be starting school at Triangle-Tech in June for ACADD(Architecture Computer-Aided Drafting & Design) & you have to travel the world to know what homes to build for different cultures! Graduated High School in 2009' married my wonderful husband Andrew May 26, 2011' & have been living happily ever after since... lol. Doesn't mean that I'm done planning all the trouble I can still get into over the next 60 years of my life! Still working on my life goals but it kind of came together in the 'Interests' section... Thinking about starting a blog, what do you all think?? I'm a novice to the Tarot & hoping to find a few friends here to show me the ropes. Interests:#1 Tarot & Reading about Tarot related things, Knitting (trying to get a blanket done for my mom), Doodling/Drawing (it just really makes me happy & lets me get out of my head for a little while)... Watching & Reading Manga (Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball)... Learning new things mostly like I wouldn't mind learning German, Italian, French, Russian, ASL, Japaness, Chines, Hebrew, etc... Also I would like to travel to all the places that speek these languages so that I can see the culture, it's all about the culture!...

So a few months back I finished the personal project to rule all personal projects.
I found a copy of the adorable and clever Hello Kitty Tarot deck by Joe Rosales that is now out of print. I thought it would be fun to color it. I was going to use watercolor, but the paperweight and ink wouldn’t allow that… So I scanned it and painted it digitally and 78 paintings and probably 300 hours later this is what I have!
I used the Thoth deck by Lady Frieda Harris and Aleister Crowley for color inspiration. I ended up editing the drawings for alot of the cards and totally redrawing a few of them To fit my interpretations of the cards. About 80% of the line work is original
It was a lot of work but I think it was worth it so that I could have my own version of such an adorable deck.
